Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary:
To ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all production and utility equipment, including knitting & woven machinery, injection molding machines, power presses and general utilities (HVAC, compressors, boilers, generators, etc.) in support of uninterrupted furniture & decor manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of knitting machines, woven fabric machines and auxiliary equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines and metal power press machines to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Operate, monitor and maintain factory utilities like air compressors, chillers, boilers, generators (diesel & gas), HVAC systems and water treatment units.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and checklists for all equipment and utilities.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical issues across production and utility equipment.
Support installation, commissioning and relocation of machines and utility systems.
Work closely with the production team to ensure quick resolution of machine downtime and maintain productivity targets.
Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), environmental, standards during maintenance activities.
Provide technical support for machinery upgrades and energy-saving initiatives.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
BSC degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Experience Requirements

At least 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Furniture Manufacturer

Additional Job Requirements

Age 35 to 50 years
8+ years hands-on experience in maintaining knitting & woven fabric machines, Injection molding machines, power press and metal stamping machines, generic utilities and required all,
Strong knowledge on mechanical systems, pneumatics, solar panel, hydraulics and basic industrial electricals.
Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and preventive maintenance practices.
