Job Description / Responsibility
- About Us: At i-Global Services, we are dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad. With 20 years of experience in student consultancy, we pride ourselves on offering personalized guidance and support to each student.
- Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Student Counselor to join the i-Global Services team. As a Student Counselor, you will play a crucial role in advising students on their study abroad options, helping them with university selection, application procedures, visa processes, and post-arrival support.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert counseling to students and their families on study abroad opportunities and processes.
- Assess students' academic profiles, career aspirations, and interests to recommend appropriate universities and programs.
- Guide students through the application process, including documentation, deadlines, and scholarship options.
- Assist students with visa applications and ensure compliance with relevant immigration regulations.
- Organize and conduct informational webinars, one-on-one consultations, and group sessions to educate students about study abroad procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, educational institutions, and visa agencies.
- Follow up with students’ post-admission to ensure smooth transitions to their chosen destinations.
- Provide emotional and logistical support throughout the application process and upon students' arrival at their destination.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors, Masters
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1.5-2.5 years of experience
- Previous experience in student counseling, study abroad consultancy or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of study abroad processes, including university admissions, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and understand their unique needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Fluency in English is required.
