Assistant Merchandiser - Merchandising

Job Description / Responsibility

Prepare T & A and monitor to Development, Sourcing, and Production area;
Follow up on sample developments and production with a high degree of personal responsibility;
Attend buyers meeting, negotiate, secure and execute with the reporting manager;
Source sample material, fabric material and get approval;
Lead sample development and PP meeting with consumption check and finalize during development;
Plan wise on time booking placement and ensure on time material ETA at factory;
All required submission as per Buyer's demand including Gold, Black, Sample Fabrics, Trim Booking, etc;
Co-ordinate with Production Team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer;
Coordinate with Planning Manager to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing all order in the lines;
Work closely with QA to ensure best final product. Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
University of Dhaka,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,BRAC University,University of Chittagong,Jahangirnagar University students will get preference

Additional Job Requirements

Age at least 23 years
Strong communication and presentable ability to buying house merchandiser
Possess high sense of responsibility in the order to completion of the assignment
Should be a long term planner Well conversant in MS Office
