Job Description / Responsibility

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IGCSE English Language Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the IGCSE curriculum, a flair for inspiring students, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English Language lessons in line with the IGCSE curriculum
Prepare students for exams with a focus on skill development and academic achievement
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly to the subject leader.
Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student growth
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or teaching qualification preferred).

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years

Additional Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English Language at the IGCSE level
Familiarity with the Edexcel IGCSE syllabus and assessment criteria
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A passion for education and student success
