Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a 100% Export-Oriented Renowned Tent & Garments Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic, energetic, and analytic candidate for the "Assistant Manager - Production" position. This position is specifically for Tent manufacturing. The incumbent must have the initiative, experience, and drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Monitoring and ensuring smooth execution of production activities for tents.
- Helping the Quality Department in maintaining quality standards and procedures.
- Providing technical support to production staff, addressing technical issues, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Assisting in creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Assisting in preparing and managing production budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Researching and preparing cost estimates for production needs, including equipment, raw materials, and staffing.
- Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols within the production environment.
- Identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
- Maintaining accurate records of production activities and data.
- Supervising and guiding production technicians and other team members.
- Providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff.
- Conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans of the subordinates.
- Assisting the production manager with administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Investigating and resolving production issues to minimize delays and maintain smooth workflows.

Additional Job Requirements
- Age 32 to 45 years
- Prior experience working in a tent factory is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Bangla and English is required; Chinese language skills will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of all sewing quality processes related to tent production.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and cutting diagrams for tents.
- Strong leadership skills to oversee and manage daily operations effectively.
