Job Description / Responsibility
  • About Us:
  • GD Assist Limited, a subsidiary of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Outlet Manager for its international retail pharmacy chain, Aster Pharmacy Bangladesh.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patients, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Offer expert counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, and contraindications.
  • Analyze inventory data on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to identify trends and implement effective strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Manage ordering, liquidation, and resource allocation to prevent stock shortages or excess.
  • Oversee merchandise receiving, stocking, and handling, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Ensure product availability aligned with customer demand; maintain accurate records, such as the registry book.
  • Conduct regular gap analysis through stock checks, reorder level (ROL) assessments, and timely processing of Purchase Requests (PR) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable store; manage maintenance and emergency issues as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower the team to provide high-quality care and services, fostering continuous professional development.
  • Address employee relations and support a positive, motivated work environment.
  • Supervise store finances, including register counts, safe deposits, and financial records (ledgers, invoices, cash reports).
  • Actively engage with the local community through brand promotions, corporate onboarding, campaigns, and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and manage Home Delivery (HD) services, stock transfers between stores, and ensure timely HD referrals to other locations.
  • Send regular bulk SMS notifications to loyal customers for updates, promotions, and offers.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Bachelor/Honors, Masters
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Pharmacy is preferred. Other disciplines with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • 4 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Retail Store

Additional Job Requirements
  • Experience: 4-6 years of retail outlet management experience, ideally in the pharmacy or healthcare sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in retail management software (WMS), Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift and handle heavy items.
