Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of Manager (Commercial) in payment realization section for a spinning mill.
- Job Responsibilities
- Manage local LC transactions including opening, acceptance, and settlement with banks.
- Ensure all LC terms and conditions are met for local suppliers and buyers.
- Communicate with banks to resolve LC-related issues and discrepancies.
- Manage the acceptance process of financial documents related to local purchases and sales.
- Ensure all party acceptance documents are processed on time and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure smooth handling of banking instruments such as demand drafts, payment orders, and bank guarantees.
- Liaise with banks for the preparation, modification, and settlement of LCs for local transactions.
- Oversee the issuance and verification of Chalan for local product deliveries and returns.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all commercial processes run efficiently.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on commercial activities, party acceptance, LC status, and transaction records to senior management.
- Provide feedback to improve commercial operations and streamline documentation processes.·
- Ensure timely preparation and management of all commercial documents related to local transactions.
- Handle all necessary documentation including Chalan, invoices, delivery orders, and party acceptance letters.
- Verify and maintain records for accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Carry out the responsibilities as assigned by the management in time to time.
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Master’s degree in any discipline from reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Textile, Spinning

- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Honest, dynamic, dedicated and responsible individuals are desired in the company.
- Preparing Sales report for management.
- Experience in ERP Software will get preference.
- Computer Literacy with Good knowledge in MS Excel and Email experience.
- Proficiency in English.
