Job Description / Responsibility
  • Source and procure fabrics based on production requirements, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Keep track of fabric trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to optimize sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international fabric suppliers to secure the best quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure fabric compliance with buyer requirements and international standards.
  • Handle price negotiations, lead times, and terms with suppliers while ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Evaluate fabric weaves, compositions, finishes, and technical specifications to meet garment production needs.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, production, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of fabric sourcing into the supply chain.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • B. Sc. in Textile Engineering
Experience Requirements
  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments

Additional Job Requirements
  • Ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times with suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure.
