Job Description / Responsibility
- Full-time (6 days a week)
- Three (3) months’ probation period & based on the performance; permanent position will be offered.
- We are one of the reputed readymade garments buying agent companies of Bangladesh, located in Dhaka. We have collaboration with 15 most Internationally Acclaimed Garment Manufacturers in Bangladesh. We have built the reputation of a dependable garments sourcing company with high -quality products delivered in timely shipments.
- Full responsibility for quality function within the factory through the entire manufacturing process including knitting dyeing, sewing in process, finished goods inspection, and checking.
- Clear understanding on buyer tech pack, technical sheet, production pattern & marker and maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the buyer specifications.
- Must be able to report making. Conduct PP meeting, inline and final Inspections and provide solutions to solve quality issues.
- Monitor and check production status on regular basis.
- Follow up with planning/production/Merchandiser & ensure shipment move on time.
- Ensure all production corrective actions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct pre final & Final inspection and confirm the quality of the garment.
- Provide technical support to factories to ensure product quality.
- Any other task as and when required by the company & management
Educational Requirements
- Minimum graduation in any discipline but textile is preferable. (In case of experienced candidate educational qualification can be considered).
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Buying House
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-6 years working experience with Knit, woven, Sweater& Jacket garments with the experience a minimum of 3 to 4 years in garments quality Control.
- Age should be no more than 33.
- Good at quality data analysis and reporting.
- Capable to handle and deal with factory/suppliers about the quality issue.
- Should have sound knowledge of all types of fabrics, washing, print embroidery and all types of products like woven, Knit, etc. (experience in sweater will be treated as advantage).
- Capable to understand AQL chart, shade, defects type, etc.
- Ability to work as a team player & work under pressure & problem-solving capability
- Should be dynamic, hardworking, goal oriented, self-driven with amicable personality.
- Good knowledge in product development and T&A calendar.
- Should have good communication skills (English & Bengali in verbal & email communication).
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing suppliers & factory person(s).
- Computer basic knowledge in E-mail, Internet and Microsoft Office Program
