Job Description / Responsibility

- To support its continuous growth, we are looking for a qualified and competent candidate for the role of Finance Controller.
- Position Overview:
- The Finance Controller is a critical leadership role in the organization to plan, organize, run, monitor and evaluate the financial control & reporting systems and appraisal of the effectiveness of internal controls to assist Management in achieving corporate objectives while maintaining the appropriate balance of risk and control.
- Contribution:
- Financial planning, reporting and review systems;
- Internal Control system that will provide reasonable assurance to management as to the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial budget;
- Monitor expenditure and maintain related internal control;
- CAPEX Management and provide useful inputs for Strategy Development.
- Long-term goals:
- Ensure proper financial and management reporting as per needs of concerned stakeholders.
- Proactively assist in ensuring corporate governance through an effective Internal Control system.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, including sales, margins, expenses, and profitability.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Cost Management and Optimization:
- Analyze cost structures and implement cost control measures to optimize expenses
- Prepare and send monthly management Reports and assist departments in cost control by financial analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads and business units.
- Monitor budgetary performance and variance analysis and flag unusual variances for management’s attention.
- Financial Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with internal audit and external auditors to support audits and reviews.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow to support operational needs, investment opportunities and debt obligations.
- Optimize working capital management, including receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
- Develop cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity and minimize financing costs.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and capital expenditure projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of new product launches, market expansions and pricing strategies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Master's degree (preferable in Accounting/ Finance)
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- 12 - 15 years of proven work experience.
- Relevant certification (e.g. CMA, CA, ACCA)
- Advanced knowledge in cost and management accounting/ management reporting/internal control.
