Job Description / Responsibility

Follow the CAIE curriculum (for Art) to map out unit plans for the entire academic year.
Develop and implement lesson plans and class room activities consistent with the curriculum
Effectively manage the classroom.
Prepare and arrange art materials and art equipment in the classroom/ art room for the students to use.
Give drawing and painting demonstrations to students to teach them art techniques.
Create and mark assessments that accurately measure students’ performance.
Must have innovative and creative ideas of cultural programme planning.
Actively participate and plan for all school events.
Support the Administration in developing art programmes, attend faculty meetings and participate in Parent Teacher Meetings.
Masters or Bachelor of Fine Arts from a reputed university.
At least 3-4 years of teaching experience in an English medium school.
Excellent communication skills in English. Computing skills (MS Word, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator).
Music teacher qualification requirement - Bachelor or Master of Music from any reputed organisation.
Lesson planning for music to teach in classes.
Actively participate in preparing students for school events and competitions.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years

College, School
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 35 years
Trained in Photoshop, Illustrator, Graphic Design.
