Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- Wholesale Club Ltd. Is an enterprise of JAMUNA GROUP, which is one & only hypermarket in Bangladesh. Right now we are looking for an Executive under Supply Chain department, who will share our pride and support our continuous business growth by showcasing his talent, skill, experience, expertise, dedication, integrity, accountability & transparency.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Category performance to agreed KPI's.
- Supplier management & ensure to quality product delivery.
- Coordinate and develop suppliers to improve the effectiveness of supply chain for the categories.
- Negotiate to stakeholders to increase availability & margins through more profitable pricing strategy & volume target to execute precision merchandising with comprehensive clustering, space planning and assortment management capabilities.
- Monitor competitor activities and consumer trends by gathering regular Market Intelligence and analyzing customer insights.
- Develop a products assortment and merchandise mix, including in-house products that will meet customer demand and financial objective.
- Conducting regular market survey to evaluate market intelligence of products availability, setting up products pricing, new items information, consumer behavior to assess the development needs of the business at all levels in context of regular operation and expansion.
- Design & develop merchandising concepts including fixtures and planograms for outlets, ensure strict implementation and provide regular updates on performance.
- Drive more effective promotions for the categories that will support brand development and revenues growth.
- Close monitoring item to item in-depth sales and profit analysis, select right products assortment, set up forecasting qty, stock & order monitoring, ensuring proper display and merchandising mechanism to enhance category visibility that meet customer needs with fulfilling financial objectives.
- Drive smart and proper demand management (Push & Pull driven) for ensuring consistency of availability through PR-PO-Delivery activities to meet up customer demand and category objectives.
- Any other task assigned by the management time to time.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor/Honors
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Retail Store, Group of Companies, Supply Chain, Super store, Departmental store
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 24 to 30 years
- Working in retail operations will get extra preference.
- Communication, Multitasking, Technical skills.
- Proficiency in computer operating system & software (MS Excel, MS Word).
