Senior Designer - Fashion Design & Development (Sweater)

Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for dynamic talent as Senior Designer - Sweater Fashion Design & Development in the Design & Development Department.
Job location will be Head Office, Gulshan-2, Dhaka.
Design & develop by own research and following the buyer's trends.
Make co-creation & collection design.
Producing concepts by analyzing trends and target consumers.
Making graphics/sketches by hand or on the computer.
Ensure work on the sweater trend Report/client Mood/market Intel as Buyer's development program/upcoming seasonal development.
Follow-up and confirm quality products through multiple processes (pattern, strike-off, yarn, knit down, and mockup)
Attend trade shows and industry events to gain inspiration, network with industry professionals, and stay informed about the latest industry developments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sampling, merchandising, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts.
Assist in maintaining and updating the display room for the buyer's visit.
Provide proper documentation and reporting of work.
Perform all other special tasks as assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Design

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Group of Companies, Sweater Industry

Additional Job Requirements

Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be able to cope with pressure, flexible and adaptable.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
Well conversant with IT equipment.
