Job Description / Responsibility
  • Job Context:
  • AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer primarily responsible for preparing salary sheet, calculating employees’ compensation, updating internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records.
  • Ensuring, maintaining and follow-up daily attendance of all employees.
  • Prepare salary payment sheets that includes OT, Festival bonus, Annual Leave Encashment etc.
  • Prepare final settlement sheet of the employees in case of job separation.
  • Entre new employees date in the database system.
  • Employee's daily attendance status checkup and monthly attendance status report analysis.
  • Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)Report on payroll expenses
  • Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
  • Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the management

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc), Diploma in Computer, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Diploma in Computer Science / BSc in Computer science is preferable
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Dyeing Factory

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 22 to 35 years
  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
  • Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation
  • Time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information· Ability to work under pressure·
  • Good Communication skills both in Bangla and English.
  • Adequate computer knowledge and skills in MS Office operation and email communication.
