Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a creative prototype studio passionate about bringing innovative game concepts to life. We specialize in rapid development of vertical slices and prototypes that showcase the potential of groundbreaking ideas. Our goal is to develop games that are fun, engaging, and visually striking—capturing the imagination of players and publishers alike.
- Key Responsibilities
- Produce artwork encompassing all facets of development, including character design, weapon design, vehicle designs, environments, props, VFX exploration, pitch concepts, and marketing materials based on direction from Art Director, Lead Concept, and input from the game design team
- Based on visual direction from the Art Director, collaborate on the visual style and ensure our designs are of Epic quality bar create and iterate unique and stunning designs within a determined production schedule
- A versatile artist capable of executing a variety of styles and able to pivot based on the needs of the project
- Collaborate with other discipline teams to produce a cohesive game experience
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fine Arts
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Software Company, Film Production
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- An eye for modern automotive aesthetics that speak to our audience of teens and young adults
- Ability to work within gameplay design restraints (environment scale, character abilities, prototype function, etc.) and translate those restrictions into visuals that enhance the experience
- Experience creating art from mechanical designs to exciting arena sports environments
- Experience in 3D software such as Maya, blender, and/or Zbrush
- Excellent foundation skills, including composition, design, and color theory, and advanced knowledge of industrial design
- Experienced in working with external outsourcing vendors
- An excellent understanding of art pipelines
- Strong communication skills and understanding of various art disciplines
