Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Commercial & SCM team. The candidate must be responsible for managing imports, procurement and supply chain operations from international markets.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end international sourcing, procurement and supply chain for solar and electronic products.
- Execute and monitor all aspects of Letters of Credit (L/C), T/T, shipping documents and related banking activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs authorities.
- Ensure timely clearance of goods from ports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain vendor communication for order tracking, delivery schedules and quality assurance.
- Prepare and maintain procurement plans and cost analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with all import regulations and relevant government policies.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and equipment.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Engineering Firms, Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Electric Wire/Cable, Dry cell (Battery), Power
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at least 25 years
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of L/C, port operations, C&F procedures, customs clearance, HS code classification and import documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
