Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEI&H) has been known for about 65 years and is the largest multispecialty eye hospital in Bangladesh. - We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sub Assistant Engineer, Civil to join our team on a 01-year contractual basis, with the possibility of extension based on project funding and requirements.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at the project site.
- Conduct on-site investigations and feasibility (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
- Responsible for the project's compliance with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Organize project work and assign technicians and staff specialists to tasks.
- Other Project management duties e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Civil
- Graduates from Public institutes/universities will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Hospital
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at most 35 years
- Must have experience in piling work and RCC frame structure building work, building finishing, architectural work and internal work.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
- Familiarity with design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
