Job Description / Responsibility

Automation System Design & Implementation:
Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
Design and integrate HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for user-friendly control.
Optimize industrial processes using automation strategies.
Instrumentation & Control Systems:
Select, install, and calibrate sensors, transmitters, actuators, and controllers.
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial control panels and field instruments.
Ensure instrumentation accuracy through regular testing and calibration.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve automation system faults, communication issues, and process inefficiencies.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support for operational teams to ensure smooth production.
Process Optimization & Data Analysis:
Analyze data from control systems to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement continuous improvement techniques using automation solutions.
Monitor system performance and suggest upgrades or modifications.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all automation and instrumentation systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, OSHA).
Conduct risk assessments and implement fail-safe mechanisms.
Maintain proper documentation, including wiring diagrams, P&ID, and technical manuals.
Project Management & Collaboration:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors for new installations or upgrades.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for automation-related projects.
Train operators and maintenance teams on automation and control systems.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience Requirements

5 to 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Multinational Companies, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies, Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)

Additional Job Requirements

Age 22 to 40 years
5-7 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
