Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Summary:
- Sheba Holdings Ltd. is launching a new sister concern focused on the import, supply, and installation of lifts and elevators in Bangladesh. We are hiring a visionary and experienced General Manager to lead and grow this new venture. The GM will be responsible for strategy, operations, business development, team leadership, and profitability.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies for market entry and growth.
- Build and manage partnerships with international lift/elevator manufacturers.
- Oversee procurement, import logistics, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive sales growth through effective marketing and client engagement.
- Ensure top-quality installation, service, and after-sales support.
- Monitor local market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Supervise cross-functional teams (sales, technical, operations, supply chain).
- Report to the Board of Directors on strategic and operational performance.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors, Diploma, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or any Reputed University.
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Supply Chain, Escalator/Elevator/Lift
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 50 years
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years in leadership roles, preferably in the lift/elevator or construction industry
- Proven expertise in import operations, supply chain, and technical product distribution
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of elevator systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making ability.
- Fluency in Bengali and English; proficiency in MS Office/ERP.
