Dy. Manager /Manager - River Bank Protection (Project)

Job Description / Responsibility

Assist in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of riverbank protection projects.
Monitor daily site activities, progress, and resource allocation.
Supervise construction activities including earthworks, revetment, geotextile placement, riprap, and related civil works.
Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Ensure all construction work complies with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, and quality checklists.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.·
Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders as needed.
Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from BUET/RUET/KUET/CUET/SUST/AUST or any reputed university

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Real Estate

Additional Job Requirements

Age at least 30 years
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Technical understanding of river engineering and bank stabilization techniques.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
