Job Description / Responsibility

- Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive/Sr. Executive – Accounts & Finance to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting operations, supporting month-end and year-end closures, and assisting with budgeting, costing, taxation, and internal audits.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software/ERP.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and cash transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up for outstanding payments.
- Process vendor invoices, verify bills with supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
- Handle petty cash transactions and expense reimbursements with proper documentation.
- Inventory & Cost Management:
- Coordinate with inventory and production teams to track product costing and wastage.
- Monitor stock reports and assist in variance analysis.
- Participate in physical stock counts and reconcile inventory data with accounts.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, AIT, and other tax-related returns.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support internal audit activities.
- ERP & System Support:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in ERP/accounting software.
- Generate customized reports as required by management.
- Identify system-related issues and work with IT/ERP vendors for resolution.
- Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Partly qualified in CA (CACC), CMA, or ACCA will be considered as an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread), Dairy
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 23 to 40 years
- Sound knowledge of financial statements, cash cycle, VAT & TAX
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented
