Job Description / Responsibility
- Overview:
- RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s most diversified and innovation-driven conglomerates, is seeking a highly competent and results-oriented professional for the role of Manager – Maintenance (Cable, Metal-MS & GI, Battery). This role is critical in overseeing the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations across our advanced production units. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted production by developing and executing proactive maintenance strategies across our Cable, Metal-MS & GI Pipes, and Battery Business Units.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime.
- Lead, supervise, and support maintenance staff, including technicians and contractors.
- Oversee and participate in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are always in stock.
- Coordinate procurement of tools, parts, and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine history, and downtime logs.
- Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or machinery upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs without compromising reliability or safety.
- Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, reduce energy consumption, and lower maintenance costs.
Educational Requirements
- BSc/MSc in EEE or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university
Experience Requirements
- 6 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Steel, Electric Wire/Cable, Battery, Storage cell, Dry cell (Battery)
