Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a leading frozen food manufacturing company based in Chittagong, Bangladesh, specializing in ready-to-cook items and processed vegetables. Our core product lines include Singara, Samosa, Paratha, Spring Roll, Sliced Vegetables, Burger Patty, Nuggets, and more — catering to both domestic and international markets.
- As we expand our operations and strengthen our quality assurance and production capabilities, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Officer to join our plant team.
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily production activities to ensure timely output of high-quality frozen food products.
- Monitor production line staff and processes to meet productivity, hygiene, and quality benchmarks.
- Plan, schedule, and control manufacturing processes based on demand and inventory targets.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, HALAL).
- Maintain accurate records of production, wastage, manpower utilization, and raw material usage.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to implement corrective and preventive actions when deviations are observed.
- Lead and train production workers to ensure skill development and compliance with operational procedures.
- Ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Liaise with procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth production flow.
- Participate in audits and ensure full compliance with local regulations and export quality requirements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Trading or Export/Import
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a food processing or frozen food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, production planning, and industrial hygiene standards.
- Working knowledge of quality and compliance standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and HALAL.
- Hands-on experience in managing semi-automated or manual production lines.
- Ability to lead a team and manage shift-based operations effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
