Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) is one of the leading development organizations in Bangladesh. The organization is helping the under-privileged people of Bangladesh by providing finance, education, health care, capacity building, entrepreneurship, development and market linkage to realize their full potential. GUK is operating in 58 districts of Bangladesh with more than 5600 employees. GUK Training Center is responsible for training & development of the employees of the organization.
- GUK is looking for few trainers for its training center to facilitate training sessions for its Microfinance and development programs. The responsibilities of the trainer include identifying training needs based on skills gap analysis, developing group & individual learning courses, conducting training sessions and post training evaluation. To be successful in this role, the incumbent should have solid/hands-on experience to organizing training and training module development in line with the contemporary practice in the sector. This position is reportable to Coordinator-Training of GUK.
- Responsibilities :
- Prepare TNA proposal, Identify skill gap by conducting training need assessment of the employees at all levels, Design Training courses according to the TNA.
- Develop training curriculum and module, schedule, Power point slides, handout, video tutorials etc.
- Conduct training sessions both physically in class and online.
- Track short- and long-term development of the employees, Training effect and impact analysis.
- Coordinate with functional managers to carry out employee's performance appraisal periodically and develop employee skill database.
- Assist training center manager in planning and organizing training sessions.
- Assist training center manager in managing the training center and residences.
- Keep track of industry best practices & reflect them in the relevant policy development.
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Masters' degree in any discipline from the reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- NGO, Development Agency, Hospital, Micro-Credit
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):NGO/Development Organization.
- 3-5 years' experience of conducting training in microfinance industry.
- Hands on experience of developing training modules, Power point slides, video tutorials and conducting training sessions on different functional areas like microfinance management, accounting, management, leadership and soft skills etc.
- Comfortable at conducting training both physically and online.
- Good presentation and communication skills in both oral and written Bangla and English.
- Good inter-personal and leadership skills.
- Candidates having experience on employees' performance management will get advantage.
- Good command on MS office applications is mandatory.
- Coordination and project management skills.
- Be ready to travel frequently to the field anywhere in Bangladesh.
- Mentality to work under pressure.
- Report writing skill.
- Having 'Training of Trainers (ToT) is mandatory.
