Job Description / Responsibility

Report to: Vice-Principal & Coordinator
Position Type: Full-time
Introduction:
Guidance International School is a leading English medium institution committed to academic excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher- Islamic Studies to join our dynamic team and help guide our senior students toward success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive Islamic Studies curriculum tailored to various grade level
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote understanding of Islamic principles, history, and values
Encourage Islamic etiquette, morals, and behavior in daily school life
Organize and participate in Islamic events, activities, and assemblies
Maintain discipline and a respectful learning environment
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors, Masters
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Shariah, or a related field

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years

Additional Job Requirements

Hafiz-e-Quran and/or Qari qualification is an added advantage
At least 3 years of teaching experience in an English medium school preferred
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Good classroom management and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate Islamic teachings to students' daily lives in a positive and respectful manner
