Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Amber IT Ltd. is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer to join our growing development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the core business systems such as ERP, Billing, Payroll, and Inventory systems. As an Engineer, you will lead development efforts, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business needs.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications (ERP, Billing, Payroll, Inventory).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design robust software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and Web API.
- Guide the team in implementing best practices, including Clean Architecture, Microservices, and Modular Monolith designs.
- Optimize SQL Server database performance (complex queries, indexing, stored procedures).
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and support continuous improvement.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across multiple modules.
- Take technical ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Software Company, IT Enabled Service, ISP
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at least 24 years
- Demonstrated leadership in team or module-level development.
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
- Experience in ISP-related software solutions is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns like Clean Architecture, Microservices, or similar.
- Experience integrating third-party services and payment gateways.
- Exposure to Telerik Reports or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla.
