Job Description / Responsibility
  • Company Overview:
  • We are a premium dining restaurant known for exceptional service and quality. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, tech-savvy Accountant with a positive mindset to join our team and manage day-to-day financial operations.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts (cash, sales, purchases, bank, etc.).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and petty cash handling.
  • Monitor and reconcile POS system data with actual revenue and bank transactions.
  • Maintain inventory and costing data with coordination from kitchen and procurement teams.
  • Ensure timely VAT/TAX filings and coordinate with external auditors or tax consultants.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Maintain digital and hardcopy records of financial documents.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • BBA/B.Com in Accounting or Finance (MBA/M.Com preferred)
  • Training or certification in accounting software will be considered an advantage
Experience Requirements
  • At least 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Restaurant

Additional Job Requirements
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with VAT, TAX, and compliance matters in Bangladesh
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with cloud-based platforms and restaurant POS systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Positive mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to grow with the company
  • Honest, responsible, and capable of working under pressure
  • Good communication and reporting skills in English and Bangla
