Job Description / Responsibility

- ACCOUNTS & PURCHASING EXECUTIVE
- We are in the process of seeking a competent and committed individual to play a dynamic role for the position of Accounts & Purchasing Executive. You will mainly be responsible for:
- Responsibilities
- Assist in managing bank accounts, petty cash, stocks, debtors and creditors by compiling, analyzing, and documenting account information.
- Coordinate and assist in finalizing payrolls, monitor income & expenditure and be involved in inventory control.
- Optimize the effective use of cost management and internal controls, in order to facilitate productivity and increase efficiency.
- Prepare Payroll Tax, WHT, VAT and final accounts for audit purposes, while liaising with auditors, tax authorities and other external institutions as required.
- Handle day-to-day purchasing activities including vendor communications, collecting quotations, negotiating prices, and preparing purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials/services for project and operational needs, while maintaining accurate purchase records and stock levels.
- Support cost control efforts through effective supplier sourcing and purchase planning.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Business Studies in Accounting, Diploma in Commerce in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements
Additional Job Requirements
- Degree or Advance Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Job Experience
- Minimum 03 years’ working experience in a similar capacity in a commercial establishment. Practical experience with accounting software (such as SAP/QuickBooks), spreadsheets (such as MS Excel), and databases (such as MS Access) is essential.
- Additional Job Requirement
- Sound knowledge of product costing, feasibility studies, process improvements, internal controls, pricing, and variance analysis.
- Prior experience in procurement or purchasing is essential.
- Excellent knowledge in working with an ERP system.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English & Bengali.
