Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context: One Direction Commercial Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing & Procurement officer (FMCG) to join our Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement and supplier management in the FMCG sector, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze demand for FMCG products and prepare procurement plans.
- Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies as required.
- Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and conduct bidding processes.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare comparative statements for procurement approvals.
- Manage vendor negotiations to ensure the best quality and pricing.
- Monitor the entire procurement process to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing and Production teams) to meet procurement needs.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
Educational Requirements
- BBA/MBA or any related field from a reputed university.
- Certification or coursework in Supply Chain Management (SCM) will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at most 30 years
- Very Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supply chain best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Local and international sourcing.
- Should have strong local and overseas supplier connections and the capability of sourcing new suppliers.
