Job Description / Responsibility

Takes responsibility for overall monitoring and supervision of all merchandising and marketing activities for the Group.
Developing and evaluating marketing strategies based on market characteristics, cost factors, and the company's objectives
Takes responsibility for business development in new markets and manages relationship with key customers.
Developing budgets for marketing plans and ensuring they reflect the company's vision and values
Understands the strategic business requirement of the organization and suggests new capability building based on market intelligence.
Takes necessary steps to ensure the achievement of periodic order booking and delivery targets for the company as part of the overall financial targets on sales and profitability and operational targets related to capacity utilization of the plant.
Focuses direct marketing initiatives on key international clients leveraging on existing relationships and building new ones.
Leading and developing a team, setting goals, and monitoring progress
Collect market data and analysis competitor through marketing intelligence and other sources.
Coordinates with operations and integrate planning for production planning, procurement and timely dispatch.
Promote the business as a strong brand name of repute among prospective customers through extensive and targeted brand building exercise.
Takes regular developmental feedback from customer on issues regarding quality and shipment schedules
Develops market entry strategy for previously untapped geographies based on market intelligence
Work with key people to develop sound and robust systems, which aim at identifying and addressing customer needs on a continuous basis.
Setting KPI for the merchandising & marketing department

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing

Additional Job Requirements

Age at least 35 years
At least 13 years practical experience in any 100% export oriented composite Textile Mills.
