Senior Executive - Accountant

Job Description / Responsibility
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports.
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Management: Oversee and manage cost of goods sold (COGS), including raw materials, labor, overhead, and finished goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock valuations are accurate and up to date.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and customer payments. Ensure proper reconciliation of all payments and receipts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecasts. Track actual vs. budgeted financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, TDS, corporate tax, and other statutory filings. Assist with tax audits.Audit Coordination: Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits. Ensure the timely provision of documents and information as required by auditors.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Analyze production costs, raw material costs, labor, and overheads, and provide recommendations to optimize costs. Regularly review operational costs and highlight any discrepancies.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide regular financial analysis to senior management regarding business performance, cost structures, profitability, and cash flow.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure all accounting operations are in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and industry standards. Suggest improvements to internal processes and systems.
- ERP andAccounting Software: Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and automate accounting processes.

- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments, such as production, sales, and procurement, to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost management.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions and evolving accounting processes within the garment industry.
- Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.Occasional overtime may be required during month-end, quarter-end, or year-end closing periods.Office-based role with potential visits to the manufacturing or warehouse facilities for inventory or production cost assessments.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
- Master’s/MBA degree in Business accounting, Finance, or related field (CACC, ACCA, or other professional certifications are preferred).

- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in account, with at least 1-2 years in the garment or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax laws. Familiarity with garment production costing, inventory management, and cost control in the manufacturing sector is essential.
- Software Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Cloud Base ERP, QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.). • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial reporting, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
