Job Description / Responsibility

  • Kisan Botanix Ltd. is involved in production and distribution of potato seeds, and Gerbera plantlet from their own Lab. Being a well-established and fast-growing agro company we are looking for professional individuals interested in developing their career for following position:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the tissue culture laboratory.
  • Develop and implement protocols for tissue culture propagation, focusing on Potato and Gerbera.
  • Ensure quality control and consistency in plant propagation processes.
  • Supervise and train lab staff, ensuring compliance with safety and procedural guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory and procure lab supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or biological issues in the tissue culture process.
  • Maintain accurate records of lab activities and ensure timely reporting to management.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years

Additional Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in tissue culture, specifically with Potato and/or Gerbera.
  • Strong knowledge of lab management and tissue culture protocols.
  • Proficient in maintaining a clean and sterile lab environment.
