Job Description / Responsibility
  • Manage and supervise project staff to motivate and build team spirit and maximize their contribution to the project;
  • Leading, coordinating and delivering agreed plans and strategies to support youth capacity development of partner NGO and other local government officials and representatives of local administrative bodies as well national level policy holders;
  • Supporting the formulation of a shared youth agenda to be developed in coordination with other actors of the project;
  • Facilitate the access and creation of specialized knowledge in the field of economic empowerment of women;
  • Problem solving related to the project and agreed responsibilities by making sound judgements using management skills, technical knowledge, good understanding of teams and cost effective use of the available resources.

  • Masters degree in any discipline

  • 5 to 7 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
  • At least 3 years experience to work in youth related programs;
  • Experienced of managing projects independently, preferably empowering youth against donor requirements;
  • Strong understanding of the thematic program areas of youth development;
  • Experience in organizing and facilitated participatory Training, ToT program, workshop, brain storming sessions, focus group discussions, simulation, seminars, meetings etc;
  • Partnership development between industry skill council, UCEP and private companies for dual-apprenticeship training;
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential;
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with youth from various cultural and social backgrounds;
  • Appropriate computer proficiency in Microsoft office package, database, email and internet are essential requirements.
