Job Description / Responsibility
- Must have clear knowledge of Woven/ Knit / Sweater fabrics and its construction, quality, workmanship, weight etc
- Handle garment approval of sample at all stages before bulk shipments, including SMS samples, size set samples, JSS sample and Archive samples.
- Provide technical support during sample process; from technical sketch up to final approval for seal sample.
- Handle sample evaluation and sample approval by reviewing construction, measurements, patterns, workmanship, fitting (dummy and life model),on fit sample and size set.
- Communicate with customers and vendors during sample process to achieve best possible quality and fitting and give solutions for fitting problems.
- Prepare technical comments to guide vendors and factories to fulfill requirements for bulk shipments.
- Efficiently manage the lead time of approval process.
- Communicate with merchandising team and vendors/factories to resolve technical problems.
- Checking the paper pattern comparing with proto sample and sms.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Textile Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years

Additional Job Requirements
- Age 22 to 40 years
- Weekly review with the Procurement, Planning and Technical team of the status of validations in progress, defining priorities, critical programs, etc.
- Follow up on full compliance with the necessary information of all areas involved in the validations, prepare reports consolidating the information to manage the approval of the corresponding managers.
- Coordinate tests with the Textile technical team to solve problems or improve existing styles; ensure completion of said tests and provide final results.
- Responsible for coordinating the correct assembly and knitting of the fabrics requested for product development. (FTR/FVR)
- Monitoring of yarn inventory outside the system for product development (SKUs not created)
- Coordinate audits/studies of yarn losses or gains, monthly review with the Planning team.
- Organize training, training and any other professional training and/or knowledge event to raise the skills of the personnel under your charge
- Maintain updated information regarding validations, Developments and audits through tools such as shared folders, SharePoint, Smartsheet and any other tool within the company's platforms.
- Provide metrics for the results of yarn validations and audits, analyze trends by SKU, suppliers and distribute them to the group of interested parties.
