Officer - Internal Audit

Job Description / Responsibility

Conduct audit as per approved checklist and management’s guidance
Prepare statements and summary of findings gathered during audit
Check vouchers of all CaPex and OpEx expenditures and processing of daily transactions
Check purchase vouchers with proper quotations, comparative statement and approval and related documents
Conduct physical verification of raw materials, consumable, and finished goods & fixed assets
Check cash/bank/journal vouchers and entries & maintain and update vouchers database and file, preserve necessary documents.
Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with established policies and procedure
Identify areas of risk within the organization’s processes and operations
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary
Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement
Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
Must have CA(CC),
Financial accounting, Taxation, Risk management, Data analysis, Business law

Experience Requirements

2 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic, Steel
