Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Woven Outer Wear-Jackets, padded Jacket, Real down Jacket, Fake Down jacket, Synthetic Jersey, Active wear, functional Wear etc. Manufacturer With a commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, we strive to create functional and stylish outerwear for our customers.
- We are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Product Development Manager/CAD Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of our outerwear products Woven Jackets from concept to production. He/she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, Pattern, Sample, Sample QC to ensure the successful execution of product development initiatives.
- Responsibilities:·
- Develop and implement product development strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Ensure sample development activities of all kinds of knit and woven garments·
- Have sound technical knowledge on sewing operations and processes, sample QC & pattern also.
- Able to analyze buyer's tech pack, BOM sheet. Capable to identify inconsistencies in files.
- Proper knowledge on different type of fabric, Trims & Accessories·
- Aware about testing procedures of component as well as garments.
- Work closely with design and technical teams to develop product specifications, including materials, construction techniques and sizing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, production, and quality assurance, to drive product development initiatives forward·
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines, priorities, and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products·
- Establish and maintain quality standards for all product development processes
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Fashion Designing
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product development within the Woven outerwear industry.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel, is required.
- Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork;
- Should have strong managerial capacity to manage & lead the team.
