- Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager and project team members.
- Overall Coordination of the project.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints are met.
- Assist in preparing and managing contracts, purchase orders, and subcontracts for construction services, materials, and equipment.
- Review contract documents and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance against established targets.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to understand hydraulic conditions, sediment transport, navigational requirements, and potential environmental impacts.
- Support the Project Manager in supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and address issues or concerns related to quality, safety, and productivity.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, daily reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and meeting minutes for distribution to project stakeholders, management, and clients.
- Review and approve detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project goals and industry standards.
- Understanding the detail design-drawing, specifications, construction documents and providing proper guideline to the team members.
- Oversee the execution of marine construction projects or any Project, including coordination of equipment, materials, workforce, and safety protocols.
- Address unexpected challenges during construction, applying creative problem-solving to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and community members to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. Implement safety protocols, conduct safety training, and enforce safety procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to marine construction.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Shahjalal University of Science & Technology students will get preference
