Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct classes of SSC passed students make them achieve competence in Cooking various Bengali-Chinese-English dishes, Prepare menu, food hygiene, food supply, storing , House-keeping, food service etc. Prepare Class routine and semester plan, Lesson plan, class notes & lecture handouts, taking class test, quizzes and exam. Monitoring lessons, taking feedback, checking exam papers and record keeping, monitoring discipline, attend faculty meeting and ODís duty. Perform any other work assigned by the management.

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Catering service & production from any recognized University or Diploma in the same subject from Bangladesh Porjoton Corporation English from a recognized university preferably with O and A level background.
  • Candidates with better CGPA will get preference ensuring other qualification(s).

Experience Required

  • At least 2 years teaching experience in a reputed English medium school/college having Master degree or 5 years teaching experience with Bachelor degree.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Training should be such that they are able to cook food individually on board ship as cook and provide House-keeping/ steward services as Steward.
  • Strong communication skill in English O and A level passed candidates will be given preference.
  • We prefer the candidates who are goal oriented and can handle jobs under pressure.
  • Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Outstanding communication skill will always get preference just after the merit.
  • Candidates living in and around Uttara Model Town are encouraged to apply because of the traffic problem.
