Qualification:
B.Tech/ B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical/civil/system) or 10+ years’ experience of working on Electric Train |
Exp:
Minimum 10 years for Graduate out of which minimum 5 should be in works of similar nature preferably in METRO PROJECTS |
Objective of the position:
Handling all execution activities including the installation, Testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical train system. Including all Supervision, monitoring, documentation for work pertaining to installation.
Key responsibilities & duties : |
- Installing and maintenance of electrical train system includingcarriages, doors, electrical power transfer
- Monitoring & Execution of all Site activities
- Support and coordination with site and integration team with all installation
- Fitting out new carriages with upholstery, lighting, control panels and communication systems
- Inspecting bodywork, roofs and under-carriages for wear and tear or damage
- Repairing or replacing parts
- Making new parts
- Carrying out regular maintenance checks on systems such as brakes and couplings
- Responsible for keeping all documentation & data of work progress and execution records.
- Taking apart and testing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
- Writing reports and updating maintenance records. Review & submission of Daily/ weekly monthly progress report of area of works.
- Ensuring safe working condition and implementation of zero incident policy. Conducting meeting with junior staff regarding progress and resolving their progress.
